President Akufo Addo has in a letter responded to allegations by Martin Amidu regarding possible interference and a lack of protection for the office of Special Prosecutor. The former Special Prosecutor who resigned yesterday alleged interference in his work and particularly cited the investigations of the Agyapa deal as the last straw to have broken the camels back. In a nine-page letter signed by Executive Secretary, Nana Asante Bediatuo,the President denied interfering in the work of the special prosecutor.
