Management of Dzata Cement, the first-ever wholly-owned Ghanaian Cement Company has officially out doored its social media pages ahead of its launch. The over 100 million dollar project owned by business mogul, Ibrahim Mahama has come up for praise after earlier visits this week by key government officials to the cement factory. The announcement of official social media pages follow a plethora of calls and inquiries by Ghanaians about where to purchase the new product.

This week Ghana’s Trade Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng endorsed Dzata Cement after he paid a working visit to the facility. Others including Ghanaian lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong have also praised the efforts of Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for the construction of Ghana’s first wholly-owned cement factory. He further urged Ghanaians to support him and indicated that he had instructed that only Dzata cement will be bought for his remaining construction works. Insiders within the company however say they are willing to sell to anyone including Kennedy Agyapong should he make a request.

On the issue of supply, we can also confirm that the samples available now are only for trials and testing and are not available on the market until after the launch which is scheduled for sometime next month. The company is also yet to confirm the current market price of 30 cedis which is being speculated in media circles. To follow the page on Twitter
