Stanbic Banks Alhassan Andani set to retire as CEO in November after 14 years
CEO of Stanbic Bank, Alhassan Andani is expected to retire in November 2020. The long-serving Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Ghana has over 30years of progressive experience in banking and financial services. Mr. Andani, a versatile banker with significant experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail banking, and business leadership will be replaced by Kwamina Asomaning, a key member of the Andani Team. Head of Marketing and Communications at the bank Mawuko Afadzinu revealed on his Facebook page
Mr Andani has championed a number of innovations and led key reforms at the South African Bank in his 14 years stay at the bank
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from the University of Ghana and a master’s degree in banking and finance from Fin Africa Institute in Milan. He was Deputy Managing Director of Barclays Bank Ghana before joining Stanbic Bank in 2006.
Mr Andani has over the years sat on the board of several organizations including Ghana Home Loans Company Ltd, Savana Agricultural Research Institute (SARI), JA International Group of Companies, Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), Rlg Communications (Ghana) Limited, and TV Africa.
